Hero Card
You start with a number of Hero Cards that is written on you Hero Sheet (top-right corner). You can have a maximum number of Hero Cards that is also written on your Hero Sheet (top-right corner).
If you have Wound-cards, these are counted as Hero Cards in you hand.
Hero Cards are non-wound cards.
Draw Hero Card
You can only draw new Hero Cards in particular situations:
- You must shuffel your discarded Hero Cards into your deck and draw up to your minimum hand, if you take a Rest action on the Rest-spoke.
- You may draw one Hero Card when you use the Move-spoke.
- You may draw one Hero Card when you use the Attack-spoke.
- You may draw one Hero Card when you use the Defend-spoke.
- You may draw one Hero Card when you use a Hero Card that has an extra action that allows you to draw another Hero Card. When you have revealed the next Hero Card, you cannot undo this play.
Discard Hero Card
When a Hero Card has been used the card goes to the discard pile, unless there is other effects saying otherwise (e.g. Elvish Dagger).
There are some Hero Cards that tells you to discard another Hero Card in order to use it.
Numeric Hero Card
- Move Card: You can use these cards to add Action Points, while you are preparing to move your peg on The Stone of Destiny.
- Move Card: You can use these cards to add Action Points, while you are on the:
- Move-spoke
- Special-spoke if you have not made any movements on the board during the Special Action-part.
- Sprint-spoke before you have drawn the Response Card indicated on the Sprint-spoke.
- Charge-spoke before you have moved the hero on the board.
- Attack Card: You can use this to boost you Attack attribute:
